ABOUT THE PARK

Our mission is to provide free programming and educational opportunities for the enrichment of visitors’ lives, to showcase the multitude of cultures and talents Dallas has to offer, and to be a town square where citizens may congregate and create traditions.

Thanks to our good friends at CBS 11 for creating this two-minute video of a year in the life of Klyde Warren Park.

Klyde Warren Park serves as a central gathering space for Dallas and its visitors. The 5.2-acre deck park, designed by The Office of James Burnett, is an urban green space built over the recessed Woodall Rodgers Freeway between Pearl and St. Paul streets in downtown Dallas. Klyde Warren Park is a highly active space, providing daily free programming for the public ranging from yoga to lecture series to outdoor concerts and films. The park is privately operated and managed by the Woodall Rodgers Park Foundation.

The Park is undertaking an estimated $76-million project to add 1.2 acres over Woodall Rodgers Freeway, just west of St. Paul Street. This land will be used for a pavilion and additional public park space, accessible year round for the community and guests.
